CommentThis juvenile Brown Honeyeater is easily identified as a young bird by the indistinct yellow patch behind the eye, swollen yellow gape and the yellow wash on the throat and breast. I removed some out of focus leaves below the bird and some spent seed heads which distracted from the image.
EquipmentCanon EOS 7D mark II ,Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM , Ext EF 2x III
1/160sec @ f/5.6 ISO 800 Spot Metering Focal length 600mm. I also used a tripod . The raw file was adjusted for White Balance, Sharpening reduced to 0 and Lens Profile correction adjusted before the file was transferred to Topaz De Noise AI to adjust for noise. The tiff was then adjuted in Lightroom for Highlights, shadows, whites etc before transferring to Photoshop to remove the distracting elements, resizing and final sharpening before saving.
