CommentI had set up to photograph thornbills in my garden when two crested pigeons literally dropped out of the sky and the male immediately began his courtship display. The whole performance only lasted a couple of seconds in which time it was all I could do to focus and fire off a couple of frames. So this is a real snapshot but I think the pose and colours of the plumage make it worth keeping.
