| Comment | We arrived in the afternoon at the Cheyne Beach Caravan Park, with other members of the Wheatbelt Avon Bird Group and went walking in the nearby heath in search of the "big three" birds (Western Whipbird, Western Bristlebird and Noisy Scrub-bird). All three could be heard only. Next morning I positioned myself, with the sun behind me, near were a Western Bristlebird was seen calling from on several occassions. With a short telephoto lens plus teleconverter I had to get close and at 6 metres the call was loud and beautiful for most of the 25 minutes I stood there. | ||||||||||||||||||
