Pacific Black Duck

Pacific Black Duck (Image ID 43204)
CommentOn a perfectly calm lake and with the morning sun somewhat backlighting the mother and brood, I needed to overexpose by 2.5 stops. The result was an overexposed background with the only colour in the water being the small amount of turbulence created by the ducks. The resulting simplicity is what I find appealing.
