Eurasian Coot

Eurasian Coot (Image ID 43169)
CommentI took a very large number of images of Coots as they foraged for food. I wanted to capture a Coot as it launched itself out of the water before diving in, with the Coot's distinctive beak-shield clearly visible in the reflection. I have submitted this image because it pretty well ticks all of the above boxes.
