CommentI was on Penguin Island with the first ferry and was setting up my camera rig in the hope of getting a shot of one of the Bridled Terns in flight following a flight pattern that the birds seemed to be routinely choosing. However, this proved extremely difficult to do, as the birds are very swift and their flight pattern, at best, erratic and mostly unpredictable. After an hour of work I called it a day, and this capture was the better one of only a dozen of ‘keepers’ of the bird in flight, half of which did not even have all of the bird in the frame
