Banded Honeyeater

Banded Honeyeater (Image ID 43077)
CommentA pair of these Honeyeaters were cautiously flying around and landing on nearby trees close to where I was watching. This one came down to drink with the security of the rocks, so it did not to have to share the main waterhole with other birds. They are a stunning looking bird with the white and black band across the neck. It's eye is reflected beautifully in the water.
