CommentWe share our human habitats with many kinds of birds. Here at the height of Melbourne’s lockdown, when going to gyms is verboten, our parks and gardens have become outdoor gyms. Here is how one young exerciser is sharing a grassy sports oval with rock doves and, if you look hard, two swallows. On other mornings in the same spot, you might see whole flocks of starlings or travelling troupes of grass parrots. Seeds for the doves, grubs for the starlings, gnats for the swallows, and fitness for the humans
