Pied Stilt

Pied Stilt (Image ID 42565)
CommentIn the reflection the bird's eye is visible as it searches for an evening meal. Bubbles disturb the smooth surface as the stilt's bill moves in the water.
The serene scene and the simple background of gentle ripples means your eye is focused on the stilt, clearly lit in late afternoon sunshine.
So much is indicated in this simple photo so I chose to enter it for this competition.
