CommentAustralian Ringneck Parrot Hybrid. Barnardius zonarius x semitorquatus
In the Perth Region the Twenty-eight Ringneck Parrot crossbreeds with the Port Lincoln Ringneck Parrot; hence this hybrid features both the red frontal-band and the yellow belly.
Come springtime, the blossoming feral Flame Trees (Coral Trees) found in abundance around Perth WA are offering a plethora of photo opportunities as they attract numerous bird species and insects for their nectar.
