CommentI would have preferred a more natural setting but this bird was sitting very close on a cable at the jetty, so was too good an opportunity to get a close photo. I'd only seen these birds in groups so it was interesting having this one on its own, with no sign of any others nearby. I was pleased with the clarity of the image and the fact that the bird had an insect was added bonus.
