| Comment | Collared Sparrowhawks are somewhat elusive, difficult to find in my experience and to achieve an image that allows such a close crop is very exciting and I am pleased to have an opportunity to share it. Especially when it was captured by a new camera and lens. I do love their visage, assured, aloof and very assertive. This bird was attracted to a water point in Gluepot on a day of extreme heat. | ||||||||||||||||||
