| Comment | By far the most prominent feature of a Pacific Gull is it's oversized bill, but at least at the time of submission of this photo, there were no other Pacific Gull entries in the Advanced lineup. This surprised me so I felt obliged to submit this one. I haven't seen too many photographs of this species with it's bill open, so I thought this photo offered something a little different. The adults of all the gull species are normally very tidy looking birds, although some of their feeding habits sometimes leave little to be desired. | ||||||||||||||||||
