Yellow Chat

Yellow Chat (Image ID 40348)
CommentOn a small island in Lake Argyle numerous yellow chats were flitting around and calling from the tops of grass stems. I thought this photo typified the behaviour of the birds this day. The bright yellow plumage stands out from the muted colours of the grass. The curled grass stems also add interest to the photo against the blurred background.
