CommentThis bird is in advanced breeding plumage so it will not be long before it embarks on migration to their breeding grounds. The breeding plumage of these birds is little different, the wing coverts take on the wavy darker lines and streaks that are termed 'vermiculations' and overall coloration remains the same.
