Dusky Woodswallow

Dusky Woodswallow (Image ID 38151)
CommentThis little bird looked straight at me early one morning when I was enjoying a coffee at a lonely camp site in a very drought-affected area. Succumbing to its calm and charm the bird even patiently waited while I grabbed and adjusted my camera settings. What was not to love, a dark background and a posed bird in soft morning light? There is little colour in this photo but the sepia tones are attractive to me and I hope appeal also to others. So for all above reasons this is among my choices for the current competition.
