CommentOpening image in Olymous Workspace, I take a RAW copy and open this in Adobe Camera Raw, using the sliders. Then opening the image in Adobe Photoshop CC 2019, I first do a ‘Background Layer’ copy, then set my black and white points in ‘Levels Layer’, also finding a ‘grey spot’ to set mid tones here. Then I run the image through Topaz sharpen and noise control in the ‘Background Copy Layer’ and further selective sharpening and image clean-up in Adobe Photoshop CC 2019, also reducing the Gaussian blur in ‘FilterBlur’ here. Back in ‘Layers’ I find what I think are the best layer settings. Back in the ‘Background Layer Copy’ again, I crop to my choice and do a PSD copy. The PSD copy is then resized in Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 to the required dimensions and the final Jpg copy is saved. Finally, I do a colour check using ‘The Australian Bird Guide’
