Photographed byGeoffrey Smith on Wed 14th Nov, 2018 and uploaded on Mon 30th Dec, 2019 .
CommentThe Cape Gannet has a longer black gular stripe down the throat than the Australasian Gannet. Other differences include a larger eye-ring, white iris, larger black margins around plates of the bill and black tail. Their call is also different, theirs appearing to be more guttural.
