Dusky Woodswallow

Dusky Woodswallow (Image ID 37049)
CommentDrought country in north-western NSW. These two woodswallows were among many birds seeking moisture of any kind around a dam which was 7% full, - or 93% empty.

This post attracted them every morning & evening as there was a tap attached further down, where occasionally a few drops dripped.
Whether male & female I can't be sure, but it was the last week of August & warm temperatures were certainly happening there.
I surmised these were a pair, & chose the photo because of the sepia tones, the light in their eyes, & because I have a fondness for these birds & their powdered fluffy feathers.
