CommentThis male Rufous Whistler was very active and very vocal on a cool and overcast, spring afternoon. In and out amongst the Black Wattles, furze and eucalyptus saplings, he was calling to a female which came from the other side of Dry Creek, to join him. They then continued their singing, first one and then the other, with a slight overlap of song as one finished and the other began.
