CommentAlthough we were visiting Lord Howe Island at the end of the White Tern breeding season, with egg-laying from Oct-Mar, one of our party witnessed an egg being laid and there was still plenty of courtship behaviour. At Ned's Beach we found a dead tree that was the focus of displays and vocalization that provided great photo-opportunities.
