Blue-winged Kookaburra

Blue-winged Kookaburra
CommentI had been in Broome for 6 weeks and had yet to obtain some acceptable photographs of the blue-winged kookaburra. It was the evening before I was due to leave and I was fortunate enough to spot this individual feeding on the lawn of the property I was staying at. The bird didn't seem to be put off by my presence at all.
