New Holland Honeyeater

New Holland Honeyeater
CommentSeveral Banksia grandis shrubs were flowering well along our roadside and in some private properties, so I positioned myself and waited on a suitable banksia along the road. New Holland Honeyeater numbers had decreased in the area after a smaller shrub had finished flowering by the end of October. Two New Holland Honeyeaters fed on Banksia grandis flowers in the private property nearby, before flying to this flowering shrub.
