Not quite bird ID but.. I came across this group of noisy miners lying on the ground. It wasn't hot enough for it to be heat stress. After about 10 minutes they got up and flew away. Were they sunbathing? It couldn't have been a dustbath as they were lying in wood chips.

Is this a known behaviour?

Yes, looks like sunbathing. There is some debate about why birds do it but thought it might be to help remove ectoparasites.
