Is this a raven? crow? Why does it have blue eyes?

Hi Varuni,

From the look of 'your' bird, it would seem that it is a Forest Raven. These birds are smaller than the Australian Raven and clearly shows a very short tail which in the Forest Raven finishes at the end of the main wing feathers. The eye only looks blue, it is actually white whit a black pupil and this shows a mature bird of more than three years.

I was partially confused by its size, didn't realise it was a different Raven to the one I'm used to seeing
