Posting a New Topic

When posting a new topic, please ensure that you select the correct category for your post in the top drop-down box of the edit window. The default entry is the first category shown on the All Categories page; this is unlikely to be the category that you want. The Category drop-down box will be present if you click the New Topic tab in the Forum menu; if you are viewing a particular category of the Forum and you use the New Topic button in the Category Header section, the drop-down box will not be present, and your new post topic will automatically appear in the category that you are viewing.

Hi All,

Simply taking this opportunity to say hello and to introduce myself. I am an amateur bird photographer residing in the Melbourne suburb of Eltham. Currently in lockdown and looking forward to getting out with the camera again after what seems like an eternity.
A typical photo session would involve a long hike and a hunt for less common species. Alternatively, a drive to The Western Treatment Plant is always an exciting opportunity to capture some raptor shots.

I look forward to seeing all of your photos and sharing some of my work with you also.

Welcome to BirdLife Photography; hope you enjoy it. I look forward to seeing some of your photos, and maybe bumping into you at WTP when we're finally able to get there (or anywhere) again. I think I'll have to learn how to use my camera again - it's been so long!
