CommentSometimes you can be lucky - this Wedge-tailed Eagle landed in one of the few trees on the edge of the lake within metres of us as we packed up our camp. Too close for the lens combination I had on the camera to frame all of the bird! It stayed for several minutes until we closed one of the car doors and it flew off.
