CommentA warm easterly wind elevated the Perth ambient air temperature late afternoon after rather low seasonal temperatures. Thus ants started to swarm on the wing, I watched this Singing Honeyeater (sub species virescens) having a feast in our front garden, note only one ant wing visible in it's beak by the time I took the photograph.
