CommentOne of the disadvantages of a prime lens is the inability to zoom out and fit the whole bird in the frame when they come so close to you – but one of the advantages in that scenario is the level of detail captured. This beautiful Comb-crested Jacana came right up to the edge of the bird hide at Marlgu Billabong. The lack of a breast-band and a rudimentary comb indicate this is a juvenile.
