CommentA dull day provided the perfect background for this splendid honeyeater's perch. The eponymous purple gape is clearly visible, as are the yellow ear tufts.
EquipmentCanon EOS 7D MkII + 300mm f/2.8L MkII + 1.4x MkIII extender, monopod.
Manual, spot metering, f/5.6, 1/ 320 sec, ISO 1250.
Processed with DPP4 & Photoshop Elements 15 with Neat Image 8.3.
