Double-banded Plover

Double-banded Plover
CommentThis Double-banded Plover flew by low and fast as I walked along the beach towards Merries Reef. I got a couple of head on images as it approached, but my favourite was from behind as the plover slowed and pivoted in preparation for landing, a wing tip kissing the ground to carve a tiny 'v' on the wet sand
