Comment:This family was located near a small run-off catchment dam adjacent to the local parkway. A pair of Wood Ducks breeds there most years with mixed success (I don't know if this is the same pair returning annually). The area is frequented by foxes, ravens and local dog walkers sometimes let their dogs off the leash to swim in the water.
Equipment:Canon 80d; Canon EF 100-400 L Mk II zoom. 400mm; ISO 400; 1/500s at f6.3, +1/3 EV. Raw file processed in Lightroom 6.
Location:Mt Taylor reserve (Australian Capital Territory)
Keywords:male, female, juvenile, adult, breeding plumage
