CommentAlthough taken in challenging lighting, I am pleased with the final result in this photograph. The wide open bill adds a little interest to the composition, as does the one-legged stance. The straw neck/breast plumes and iridescence on the wing stand out clearly and the white background ensures that the interest is entirely on the subject.
EquipmentCanon 80d; Canon EF 100-400 L Mk II zoom. 400 mm, ISO 640, 1/640 s at f6.3, +4/3 EV. Raw photo processed in Lightroom 6.
