Pacific Black Duck

Pacific Black Duck
Photographed by:Douglas Coughran on Sat 18th Nov, 2017 and uploaded on Sun 19th Nov, 2017 .
Comment:I stood watching this Pacific Black Duck feeding along the drop off edge of a small ornamental waterfall, it worked the edge for quite some time. The stream and waterfall were in heavy shade so taking a reasonable photograph was a bit of a challenge, movement, dark bird in dull light.
Equipment:Pentax K-3 II with HD Pentax DA 55-300mm f/4-5.8 ED WR lens, ISO 1600 @ 260mm @ f/5.6 @ 1/1250, hand held.
Location:Joondalup Resort Gardens (Western Australia)
Keywords:feeding, adult
