Australian Magpie
Photographed byDouglas Coughran on Fri 20th Oct, 2017 and uploaded on same date.
CommentWhat better opportunity than to do a little sun baking on a warm Spring day. This is the male of a breeding pair regularly in our front garden, either using the bird bath or foraging for food to feed their nest full of hatchlings. This fellow was taking time out, it was amusing watching him drop off to sleep in the warm sun.
