Comment:In Australia this species is likely to be seen in artificial waterbodies such as Yerrabi Pond. This image was taken in dawn light before sunrise. The reflected street light is from Mirabel Drive in Gungahlin.
The ambient light and the very low shutter speed give a dreamy look to the image.
