Satin Bowerbird

Satin Bowerbird
Resolution:1278x1050
ID:27485
Comment:Mint anyone?

Satin Bowerbirds love blue (and yellow too) and aren't fussy as long as the colour is right. While they mightn't be thought of as 'City Slickers', some do live in suburbia and they do take advantage of our cities and urban areas to collect their favourite blue things. This young male has found a discarded mint wrapper and is using it to good purpose while practicing his bower dance a few metres behind my back fence in suburbia.
