Common Blackbird

Common Blackbird
Comment:Yes, its the common blackbird - they are everywhere. But they are characters who live happily with us. This male lives in our suburban front garden and is frequently almost under the rake, broom or spade and seems to think that we, as its friends, only do the gardening to provide its meals. Look closely at its beak and eyelid to see the debris from foraging which undone the sweeping I just did.
