Great Egret

Great Egret
Comment:The egret landed on a bridge railing very close to me in a position that caught the mid-morning sunlight coming through the trees, and against a totally unlit paperbark thicket. It stood there scanning the creek for food and after a dart into the creek returned to the opposite railing, quite unafraid of my presence and providing time for multiple images.
