Australasian Darter

Australasian Darter
Comment:This female Australasian Darter was posed in classic Darter style, wings outspread, with its back to the winter sun. The light has enhanced the paler feathers on the wings and given a warm glow to the curved neck. The effect has been enhanced by tight cropping, and a little dodge-and-burn has been applied to the back and wings. A slight vignette has also been applied to frame the head.
