Pacific Black Duck

Pacific Black Duck
Photographed byCon Boekel on Sat 1st Jul, 2017 and uploaded on Mon 24th Jul, 2017 .
CommentI often search first for reflections and then for a bird to move into the reflections. In this case the reflections came from cars parked on the far side of the creek. In this case a Pacific Black Duck obliged - after several others had swum past. Parts of the white show a squiggle effect that I enjoy - they look a bit like brush strokes. The bird is unaware of the reflections which do not actually 'exist' near the bird itself. It knows the photographer is interested but has not the slightest idea about why.
