Rock Dove
Photographed by:Douglas Coughran on Fri 2nd Jun, 2017 and uploaded on Fri 21st Jul, 2017 .
Comment:I was walking along a boardwalk on the lee side of fore dunes on Penguin Island when looking up I spotted this Rock Dove taking in the warmth of the early morning sun's rays. The angle of the early morning sun light and my low angle to the bird caught the stunning iridescent breast feathers just right, I took the shot .
